Karin Bergquist is the unmistakable voice of Over the Rhine, the voice that has connected Over the Rhine's music to an audience as diverse as life itself. She has contributed complete songs such as Paul and Virginia, The Genius of Water, Poughkeepsie, Rhapsodie, Anyway and Little Blue River to the band's body of work thus far, and collaborated with Linford on many others. Karin plays guitar and piano in addition to singing and songwriting, nurtures no mean rose bush, and grills salmon guaranteed to wake up the cats and get them downstairs acting friendly.
