Over the Rhine Barn Loft Concert:
Moonrise
May 2, 2026
Join us Saturday, May 2, in The Barn Loft at Nowhere Else, located at 190 Townsend Road, Martinsville, Ohio, for our first barn loft concert of 2026! This special moonrise concert will feature an evening of songs to welcome the flower moon of May.
“I want you to be my love, ‘neath the moon and the stars above…”
“The moon is waiting in the wings, dreaming up some midnight song to sing…”
“Half moon halo, where does the moonlight go…”
Ever since we began renovating the barn, we dreamed of hosting concerts at Nowhere Else to share the magic of moonrises here at the farm. We recently enjoyed following along with The Artemis II astronauts: feels like a great way to ease into our 2026 barn loft concert series.
Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or lawn chairs and comfortable walking shoes. We’ll have tables and chairs set up in the barn as well.
Plenty of festive beverages will be available on site.
Hope to see you on the farm beneath the light of the flower moon!
Gates open at 5pm. Music starts at 7pm. Moonrise bonfire to follow, weather permitting.
Admission: $50
IMPORTANT: No tickets will be mailed. Your name will be on a list when you arrive. Your confirmation email will serve as your proof of purchase.

THE LONG SURRENDER
15TH ANNIVERSARY PERFORMANCE
May 16, 2026
On Saturday, May 16th, Karin and Linford will perform the songs from the sprawling album, THE LONG SURRENDER, in sequence, from start to finish in The Barn Loft at Nowhere Else, located at 190 Townsend Road, Martinsville, Ohio.
“Come on boys, it’s time to settle down…"
“How do I get my world, get it undamned…”
“All my favorite people are broken, believe me, my heart should know…”
PASTE called The Long Surrender “the most emotionally raw and musically nuanced album of Over the Rhine’s fine career, a lovely, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting musical mosaic.”
Newsday called it “aggressively beautiful, like those ‘60s protesters who confronted soldiers with flowers.”
The Christian Science Monitor wrote in their review, “Over the Rhine is your introspective village preacher, lonely and open, melancholy and rejoicing, bitter and thankful.”
Maybe even more meaningful: The Long Surrender was the first album brought into being with the direct support of the community that has coalesced around Over the Rhine’s music. Together, thanks to the generosity of our extended musical family, without involving a record label, we discovered we could make valid, beautiful art that could reach a wide audience around the world.
It feels overdue: Let’s see how this song cycle lands all these years later on the 15th anniversary of its release. (And this will be our first performance of the songs in sequence.)
Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or lawn chairs and comfortable walking shoes. We’ll have tables and chairs set up in the barn as well.
Festive beverages will be available on site.
Gates open at 5pm. Music starts at 7pm. Bonfire to follow, weather permitting.
Admission: $50
IMPORTANT: No tickets will be mailed. Your name will be on a list when you arrive. Your confirmation email will serve as your proof of purchase.

NEW OtR ALBUM PREVIEW:
An Evening of New and Unreleased Songs
June 6, 2026
On Saturday, June 6th, Karin and Linford will offer an evening of new and unreleased songs in The Barn Loft at Nowhere Else, located at 190 Townsend Road, Martinsville, Ohio.
“Hey you, Heron Blue, cut the sky clean in two, life is love, and love is you…”
“After all we’ve been through, I just wanna be with you…”
“This is my last love song…”
We have more than enough songs for a new record, and the time has arrived for us to take the leap of faith once again. Some of these songs we’ve been playing for a few years. Some we’ve never performed in front of an audience.
There’s a quiet understanding among singer songwriters: you know you have a good listening audience, when they’re excited about new music. We’re excited about the new songs that have been arriving, and we know from your notes and nudges that we’re beyond due for a new record. Lend us an ear. 2026 is the year.

“Feel the slip and the grip of grace again…”
Even after 30 years, we are still surprised by how these songs unfurl and resonate in unique and powerful ways. Maybe we need to hear them again.

SING OUT WITH JOY
July 18, 2026
On Saturday, July 18th, Karin and Linford will perform an evening of songs just right for a summer night in The Barn Loft at Nowhere Else, located at 190 Townsend Road, Martinsville, Ohio.
But get this: as the concert draws to a close, you will be invited to sing a handful of Over the Rhine favorites, and a few covers with us, to “just rare back and let it go like you ain’t got a care in the world” as Bill Monroe once said.
What does it sound like to have a barn loft full of folks raise their voices to the 1870s rafters? A sort of OtR hymn sing if you will? We aim to find out. We’ll have copies of lyrics to pass out.
Let’s make a holy ruckus.

Pour me a glass of wine, talk deep into the night, who knows what we’ll find…
Karin and Linford will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary in 2026. It feels fitting to perform the album Drunkard’s Prayer from start to finish, and then include a handful of new songs and a few additional old faves as well.

Annual Hummingbird Concert
October 17, 2026
On Saturday, October 17, one of the best months of the year in Ohio, we are hosting our autumn barn loft concert at Nowhere Else, located at 190 Townsend Road, Martinsville, Ohio.
This Saturday afternoon concert will feature songs that feel just right for October in Ohio.
This is an annual thank you concert for those who pitched in to help us acquire the hummingbird guest house adjacent to the barn.
We usually have some extra room in the loft, and with the encouragement of our hummingbird supporters, we open up a limited number of seats to others who are able to join, on a first come first served basis. It all helps to keep good things humming along here at Nowhere Else. And in 2026, all arts organizations can use a little extra help.
Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or lawn chairs and comfortable walking shoes. We’ll have tables and chairs set up in the climate-controlled barn as well. We’ll pick up some local orchard cider and apples, and have plenty of additional festive beverages available on site.
Gates open at 3pm. Music starts at 5pm. Bonfire to follow, weather permitting.
Admission: $50
IMPORTANT: No tickets will be mailed. Your name will be on a list when you arrive. Your confirmation email will act as your proof of purchase.
